Rangelands Community Initiative is not for profit community-based youth led indigenous organisation dedicated to amplifying the voices of grassroots communities in Uganda. The organisation empowers young people as stewards of rangelands by strengthening capacities in sustainable livelihoods and land tenure systems that support pastoralism and climate resilience. We embed ancestral wisdom into community resource management, preservation and conservation legacy for present and future generations through collaboration and partnership with institutional and traditional leaders, women, youth, and researchers to enhance knowledge, technology, innovation, and resilience in rangelands and pastoralism.
Rangelands Community Initiative operates in North eastern Uganda and currently in Nakapiripirit, Moroto and Kaabong Districts.
