About

RCI Africa is an Indigenous alliance empowering pastoralist communities through advocacy, knowledge preservation, and equitable use of rangeland resources. We work to sustain rangeland ecosystems, strengthen livelihoods, and promote secure land rights for peaceful coexistence among land users. By mobilizing resources and partnering with traditional leaders, women, youth, and researchers, we enhance innovation, share knowledge, and advance effective rangeland management and pastoralism rooted in Indigenous wisdom.

Principles of our work

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and impact.

1. Transparency: Monthly financial reports, GPS-tracked project updates, and community feedback loops ensure your support creates measurable change.

2. Cultural Integrity: Every program is co-designed with local elders, women’s councils, and youth representatives to honor traditional protocols and safeguard cultural heritage.

3. Sustainable Practices: From rotational grazing models to locally managed water points, we embed environmental stewardship into every initiative.
